We definitely had a whirlwind summer, which included: Tanner's baptism, two trips to Utah (one to St. George, one to Provo - BYU), a 75 mile biking/campout for Reed, Jessica's first year at Girl's Camp, painting and re-carpeting our entire house, and a nice long (two week) visit with the California cousins. Our UB and HHG finally arrived the end of August. So, with the beginning of school, trying to preserve a little bit of fruit and jam, adjusting to new callings, life, etc., we are finally settled and feeling a little sense of normalcy (even though I still really miss Okinawa :0) ).

Since we can't bury each other in the sand, we figured leaves were the next best thing.
And in lieu of snow . . Leaf AngelsAnd, last but not least, Jessica and I got to fly down to Utah for General Conference in October. What a treat that was! We were able to get tickets to three of the sessions, visit with family and friends, go to BYU, and just enjoy being together. We also got to have lunch with Jasmine and Savannah Day while we were there - very fun! We so love to see our friends from Okinawa - So, if you ever come to the states, especially if you fly through Seattle, PLEASE come visit us, or at least call so we can say hi. We are only 20-30 min. from the airport, so it's a very easy trip.
